The end of this week brings a wonderful fair to Stockholm. We are talking here about Skansen’s Autumn Fair, which will be hosted at the famous open-air museum on 24th and 25th of September, open on both days between 11.00 and 16.00.

Besides the wonderful attractions of Skansen, this end of the week you will have the chance to take part in this cheerful celebration of autumn. The event takes place every year in the end of September and the hosts say that is based on the tradition of having similar fairs all around Sweden.

This unique atmosphere form the old days will be recreated at Skansen. By the Skåne Farmstead, within the museum, you will be able to find various textiles and handmade objects, ecological vegetables, jams, pastries and other delicious treats.

Besides all this, expect also exceptional traditional food, with traditional music and dance in the background. Popular games will also be played. The organizer of the Fair is the Skansen’s Village Institute. So if you’re in Stockholm this weekend, do not miss on the celebrations!
