2016 World Water Week

World Water Week is an annual event organized by Stockholm International Water Institute. The first edition took place in 1991 and nowadays more than 3000 individual and 300 organizations are involved. This year’s theme is Water for Sustainable Growth.

The event is an important meeting place for various actors engaged or interested in issues regarding water. This sets the groundwork for those willing to share ideas and debate on this subject and its development.

The 2016 World Water Week will be ongoing from the 28th of August until the 2nd of September. If you want to participate in this event, you can still register at www.worldwaterweek.org. The main event is going to be held in the Stockholm City Conference Center.

The programme of 2016 World Water Week adds up to more than 140 different events across Stockholm, from seminars and social events to award ceremonies and themed-tours. A detailed schedule can be found by clicking here.
